Pellecchiella is one of the local apricot varieties grown in Vesuvius National Park, which has around a hundred of them. The first grade is selected and processed by hand to preserve its flavour and aroma.
The apricot gives the panettone its fruity aroma.
Serve it in slices with a sweet wine or a tea, or as a dessert with a mascarpone cream.
