Small dried cherry tomatoes preserved in oil. Sweeter than classic sun-dried tomatoes, they go well with pasta, pizza and antipasti.
Ciliegino cherry tomatoes are dried whole, then covered with sunflower oil, oregano, garlic and wine vinegar.
The fruit keeps its shape and a concentrated, slightly sweet flavour. Place them as they are on a pizza fresh from the oven, on a burrata or in a cold pasta salad. Drain them well before use.
